2003-2006 Grille Guard
Part # 220 300 0600
Discovery: Inconsistent hole-pattern on Chevy truck frames
The factory-provided mounting holes have different patterns – most are 3-holes, some are 2-hole patterns. The installation of the Big Dog Grille Guard requires a 3-hole pattern for stability.
Before installation:
Check your truck to determine if there is a 2- or 3-hole pattern on the frame.
Resolution:
If your truck frame has a 2-hole pattern, drill a 9/16” hole on each side of the frame to install the grille guard securely. The integrity and strength of your truck frame will not be compromised by adding these holes.
If you do not want to drill this required hole, you may contact your retailer and return this item for a full credit.
Our engineering department is designing a new product that will accommodate both types of truck frames. Feel free to contact us at 800-504-5684 to inquire about the release date of the new Top Gun Grille Guard.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
